Terms of service
The agreement between you and us when you use Resume Mint. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than in the usual wall of capital letters.

1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Resume Mint you agree to these terms and to our privacy notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Resume Mint is operated by [COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME], registered in India at [REGISTERED_ADDRESS]. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company; “you” means the individual using the service.
2. What the service is
Resume Mint lets you enter your professional details, present them using our resume templates, and purchase a finished PDF document. We provide the tool and the templates. The content of your resume, and its accuracy, is yours.
3. Your account
- You sign in using a third-party identity provider. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
- One account per person. Do not share your account or your download links with others.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- Tell us promptly at [SUPPORT_EMAIL] if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
4. Your content
Everything you type into Resume Mint — your history, your achievements, your uploaded photograph — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process and render that content for the sole purpose of operating the service and producing your documents. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You confirm that the information you enter is truthful, that it is yours to provide, and that presenting it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. We do not verify the accuracy of anything you enter, and misrepresenting your qualifications is your responsibility alone — with consequences that may extend well beyond this service.
5. Our content and what you may do with it
The templates, designs, layouts, code, brand and written material on this site belong to us or our licensors.
When you purchase a resume you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the resulting document for your own job applications, indefinitely. You may print it, email it, upload it to job portals and share it with employers without restriction.
You may not: resell or redistribute our templates; use them to operate a competing resume service or an agency producing resumes for third parties; extract, copy or reverse-engineer the template designs or code; or scrape the site.
6. Payment
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes. A GST invoice is issued for every order.
- Payment is by UPI, processed by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card, bank or UPI credentials.
- Purchases are one-time and per resume. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- Your document is generated once the payment gateway confirms the transaction. Where a UPI payment is slow to confirm, we wait for confirmation rather than failing the order.
- We may change prices at any time. Changes never apply retrospectively to a completed purchase.
- Coupons, including FST1995, are subject to their own stated conditions, limits and expiry.
- Refunds are governed by our refund and cancellation policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to impersonate another person.
- Upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s data.
- Interfere with the service, including by automated scraping, or by placing unreasonable load on it.
- Upload a photograph that is not of you, or that you do not have the right to use.
- Circumvent payment, share paid documents commercially, or resell access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Resume Mint available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we may modify or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects a purchase you have already made, we will tell you and, where appropriate, honour what you paid for.
Documents you have purchased remain downloadable for the window applicable to your tier. We recommend keeping your own copy of any resume that matters to you.
9. No employment guarantee
This matters enough to state plainly. Resume Mint produces well-structured, professionally designed resume documents. It does not guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed or hired, and it does not guarantee that any particular applicant tracking system will parse your document in a particular way.
We design our templates to avoid every structural pattern known to break parsing, and we test the output. But ATS platforms number in the dozens and behave differently, and hiring decisions depend on your qualifications, your experience and the employer’s judgement — none of which we control. Anyone in this industry promising interviews is selling you something they cannot deliver.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost job opportunities, lost income or reputational harm. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Termination
You may stop using Resume Mint and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.
If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any purchase you cannot make reasonable use of. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10 and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [CITY], [STATE] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Before starting legal proceedings, please contact us — almost every dispute we can imagine is resolvable by email, and we would prefer to fix the problem than argue about it.
